Green Mandarin and Ruby Red together?

I have held off on adding either of these fish because I was torn between the two. Recently I saw two well established display tanks in two separate locations where these two fish have been living happily side by side for months. Assuming other needs such as feeding can be met, can these two fish typically be kept together?

Thanks!

if your asking will they be aggressive towards each other due to their same diet then i would say doubtful.
if your tank has enough pods to maintain them then they should be fine together

Yes...wondering if similar mannerisms and shapes would result in aggression. Obviously two male mandarins are a no-no. Wasn't sure if that type of aggression might cross over.

As long as the tank is large enough to accommodate their hardy appetites and wandering ways. Paul B has a breeding pair of Green Mandarins & a Ruby Red in his, without issues.

I have a pair of each for quite a while, they sometimes party but normally ignore each other

They sure are beautiful little creatures. I've read some about your feeder design. I'll have to try my hand at making one!
