green milli now has red tips, is this normal?

I bought this at the beginning of the year, and it has since grown a little but the tips have turned red under actinic leds. I do not believe it is a red planet as the polyp color is wrong, and I have a red planet sitting next to it.

They are definitely red, almost like red planet color but a bit more of an orange to it. I couldn't get a picture but will try later this week.

It was sold to me as a green milli but i'm wondering if it is a variation of such?

Its under 3, 120w led panels. Whites are on for 4 hours a day. Its 2ft from the lights.

I would say that is somewhat typical. It can sometimes take months for the colors to change on corals not to mention changing a few different times. Sounds like it would be a cool looking piece though. Do you still have good polyp extension?

Yep, polyp extension is good! nice and fuzzy looking.

It came from someones tank and its been there a long while and the mini-colony I got was grown from a frag, so theres no worry of it being imported.
