Green Nepthea Question

Hey all,

I have a large green palu nepthea. I'm kind of sad because it never opens fully during the day. At night it's HUGE, but as the lights come on in the morning it closes up. Any ideas??

Awww man... really? I thought they loved light?

The coral is right in the middle of a 25" tall tank. Tank is lit with LED's but I've taken all the lenses off above the nepthea.

I moved the coral from my 70 to a 120. Been in there since mid-December. Maybe it's still acclimating???

Guess I should also add the following:

Alk - 9
Ca - 450
Mg - 1440

Wouldn't you know... since I posted this today it's the first day that sucker has stayed open all day long.

Mine does not like LED too much..i have had it years and it would not open and fluff up like it used too under my AI units even at 30% power. . I put it back under t5 and its looking better than ever. It is most likely a lighting issue...too much or too little i dont know.

ALK is steady at 9. Doesn't fluctuate.
