Green slimer lightening/bleaching from tips

I have had a green slimer for about a year and it's had great color and the usual fast growth. Last weekend I pulled the rock it was on out of the water to pick some caulerpa off the rock. When I put it back in the tank, it slimed pretty heavily for a while. Since then it has started to bleach from the tips. The base is still a nice solid green.

It still has really good polyp extension. With nice green polyps. Would having it out of the water for 10 minutes cause this? My other acros all seem fine. Should I be checking for something else? Ca is 420 alk is 9.5.

Are you sure it's bleaching and not white growth tips?

It's going about 3" down from the tip on all most all of the branches. This isn't new growth and was much darker a week ago.

We'll I still don't know what caused this but it's not getting any worse. It might be slightly improving if anything.
