Heres another update... the hammers were much bigger than i thought now that everything is open. I think i really need to peel off the GSP and glue direct to rock... can you guys let me know if this will harm them? do people normally do this??

Hammer is also starting to touch the powerhead... need to find a solution for that... ugh

You should have no problem peeling them and supergluing the GSP to the rock.

Fingers or x-acto knive is what I have used.

So i attempted to peel it back and the GSPs came off in bits and pieces. In hindsight i think next time i wont break the plate so its all one piece and as mentioned, use a razor blade to slice it off. But either way I was still able to glue them back on to the rock after draining about 10g of water. Glued them on quickly and left the water drained for about 15 minutes. had to hurry since i had a hammer and xenia a bit out of the water during the entire time.

I changed the position of the tree/hammer a bit as well... will now wait to see how long it takes for the GSPs to open up and spread... thanks for the help. will continue to post progress pics.
