green star polyps not opening?

i have a small colony of green star polyps that for the last two days have not opened at all any suggestions????

It happens. Mine always close at night, but sometimes they get touchy and stay closed a while. They're virtually bullet proof, so unless your water conditions are really bad, they'll open back up in no time.

Mine just opened back up after a week closed from another coral falling on them. I was beginning to think.."thats going to be one ugle, barron patch of LR if they die off"....then they opened up yesterday.

If you can use a turkey baster to remove any obvious detrius build up or algae growth, do it.

MIne close from time to time don;t worry about them not growing worry about them growing to much.
