Green tip BTA

I have a green tip BTA in my tank in great condition. He has firmly planted himself on the side of a rock and eats well but I would love for something to host him.

I have a small false Per clown in the tank who I do not think will ever host it. I am going to turn him in tonight (Unless someone wants him Free of charge) and go buy another clown.

The question is

Tomato Clown
Clarkie
or something else....

I have a Blonde Naso,Yellow Tang and a Diamond Gobe as well as a host of assorted Inverts.

Anyone have ideas on what would be best?

I like gold stripe maroons. clarkiis grow quickly and become hyper dominant, same with tomatos.

Try and pick up a mated pair if you can, or buy 2 from a group, as they will all be males, and one will change.

you could buy another false perc, but be sure it comes from a community tank with lots of others, as that way it will be a male. Singles are always females, and two females with fight to the death most likely.

Went to Suffolk County Fish and Reef and picked up a nice Maroon Clown. They were happy to take back the Perc I purchased 4 months ago, he was in good shape. So far so good, he doesn't seem to be stressed at all and is getting along well with the Tangs. So far he hasnt even looked at the ane but I will keep my fingers crossed.

thats funny i have a pair of pink skunk clowns that will host in just about anything. all the anemones i tried have perished. so no more anemones for me but the clowns host in an umbrella leather just the same.

I actually have a pair of Wild Caught darwin island black/white ocellaris that love BTA's they are hosting a nice green with purple tip bta i got from les atm and they are like little pitbulls soon as i try to get close to feed the anemone they latch on and shake. kind of funny and also different at the same time
