Green Wolf Eel Tankmates?

I was given him (the males are green right?) and I am quarantining it while I finish setting up his tank. I am looking for advice from experienced keepers on suitable tank mates (preferably smaller size).

Would any of these work?

-Snow Flake Eel
-Medium size damsels
-smaller Toby type Puffers
-dwarf angel
-hawkfish

any fish that does NOT fit into its mouth.

My green wolf eel would mouth any fish i put into the tank. IF it fit, he'd try to eat it, if it didn't, he'd ignore it

if they wont fit in his mouth you should be ok, except for the occasional psycho they really dont bother their tank mates

I have had mine for several years. I've kept it successfully with:

Hawaiian leaf fish
waspfish
angler (temporarily - angler belongs alone in a species tank)
juvenile niger triggerfish
juvenile blue spotted rabbitfish
juvenile devilfish (Inimicus)
juvenile koran angelfish

It has never bothered any fish I put with it, but none of them could fit in its mouth. It is not an aggressive feeder, as it is intimidated by the other fish eating, and darts out for food. It has a great personality and looks very cool (IMO).

I went to my LFS at lunch today and they had a good price on a similarly sized Brown Wolf (Brown=Female?). Would they be compatible or try to kill the other?

I haven't kept wolf eels together, but would try to pair them up. I'd have a plan B in case it didn't work out. They aren't all that aggressive, don't seem territorial like many dottybacks are. Take a look at the article Frank co-wrote for more information - the article recommends adding the female first, but doesn't seem to offer hard data that it can't be done the other way around:
