Greenbanded Goby

Hello all!
I am about to set up my first marin tank. It´s so exiting!
My first fish will be Greenbanded Goby. I am planning to have a lot of live rocks and macro algae in my 145 liter tank. (No skimmer.) I would be grateful for all informaiton about Greenbanded Goby. How do I see if they are a coupple? My purpose is breeding. :) (male, female?) what do they eat? are they friendly? etc.
Greetings from Stockholm!

Irene, the only thing I can add right now is that if you can find young ones, putting 2 together is all it should take as they are 100% hermaphroditic....they'll sort out what sex they're going to be and go from there. FWIW my male is probably 2 times the body mass of the female.

My only other suggestion is that you'll probably never know that they're spawning, or hatching for that matter, in a typical reef tank. I'm "lucky" in that I work from home and sometimes noticed when a hatch is coming off (because the cardinalfish start "Feeding" when I haven't "fed" the tank). A better way to breed would be to keep the pair in a small tank with a few random PVC pipe sections so you can SEE the eggs when they are laid (and thus know when to expect a hatch).

Good luck (from one Scandanavian to another!)

Dailup => using a modem to connect to the internet over phone lines (i.e. to "dail" the number for the "internet", hence dail-up).

Good luck with the gobies!

Oh! I see! :D :o
No I have a real internet connection 100 Mbit/s. I would probably gone crazy width a slow dialup!
By the way, Matt! I love those pics on the goby babies! I hope I will be able to get some too!
