grey/clear sponge

I have a grey/clear sponge that has recently appeared in my tank. In doing so it has attacked some of me zoos killing them off. I have exposed them to air and it does not kill them.

What can I do?

I'm going to ride along on this thread because I've had something similar happen before.

I ended up scrubbing part of it off with a toothbrush as wella s I could to make sure the zoos were able to live but this was very invasive

i have had a sponge creep over my zoas before but no loses...i just pulled it all off with a pair of tweezers...

is you sponge growing as a mat or like spaghetti?
