What do you plan on building?

A tall corner tank with a flat face. Something around 26" left rear x 26" right rear x 40" face x 36" tall with an overflow in the back corner.

I see you built your sump in your other thread. Is this going to be the first tank you have built?

Yeah. I'm comfortable working with acrylic, but it will be my first display tank. I'm looking to host seahorse and pipefish.

Have you ever built one?

No. The thought runs through my mind a lot. I would like to build one of thoughs giant plywood tanks 350 - 600 gal. If I ever do it won't be for awhile. Makeing one out of acrylic would be very interesting though. Keep us posted on the build please.

The various breeds of seahorses range in requirements from temperature to feeding, but most having in common a need for more height than width for movement and low water flow.

The acrylic work is cool, but the whole setup looks fantastic.

I think it was called Curbell. They have an office in albany, but I had to get it shipped from somewhere down south, which cost $90.
