Actually the above statement goes for all 3 of these items. They can all lose effectiveness with air exposure.

Very good point man.

Looks like we are getting close to our goals but we still need a few more orders to get those prices.

Anyone else gonna need any of this stuff?

I'm in
5lbs GFO
5lbs Resin

Anybody ever used this resin before? I've seen the quality vary wildly between brands.

That gets a real close on everything except the carbon but there is still plenty of time before i place the order. I plan to order like a week before the swap so everything is fresh. Sounds like i will need to buy some BIG ziplock bags as well.

What day is the frag swap?

Is this order restricted to members?

Hey, just think ..... you can pay for your $20 membership fee in just this one buy!!!!!

But I am not the one to say it restricted to members ...... but it should be. :)

I'm going to have to restrict this one to members only, Joe is right though, by getting in on this you could save $20 pretty easy.

Looks like I will become a member!!! I have been putting it off for too long and this seems like a good time to join.

Who do I pay?

Just as a heads up to everyone. Make sure to read up on DI storage. It needs to be kept sealed and damp. As little air exposure as possible. I would think double zip-lock bags or really good rubbermade canisters should work. Either way read up and be ready to store it for awhile to ensure it stays "fresh".

just thought I'd comment on this since you are thinking about ordering from us and things are about to change around here.

DI resin looses some of its effectiveness due to contact with carbon dioxide. Even thick plastic bags are not an effective barrier to cabon dioxide for long term storage.

As of this week we now package all of our single use packed DI in 4mil foil lined mylar bags. These bags almost completely inhibit gas exchange and give the DI resin an extremely long shelf life. Late this week or early next week we will also have it in a larger 18ish pound heat sealed ziplock Mylar bag as well. Both will have quantity discounts but we haven't decided what it will be on the large one yet .

I was gonna go with the non color changing just because it's cheaper and i have a built in PPM meter.

I was going to order a week or so before the frag auction so ppl can pick up their stuff at the auction.
