Group Buy on Ocean Pure salt

just want to see if any of you peeps would be interested in a group buy on Ocean Pure salt. right now I can get it for 150 gallons = 22.50 and the 200 gallons = 27.50. the catch is its in LA so I would have to drive a van down there to get it. if theres enough people interested I can have it done. let me know.

You really do get what you pay for, if you like you reef tank, I wouldn't recommend it.

If it's a fish only system, you might take a chance on it

really I've read a bunch of threads that alot of people in LA are using this stuff and like it. i'm sure there maybe some people that dont like it too. i've been using it for 2 months and so far so good. i guess everyone will have to research it on there own decide if they want to use it.

I used to use that salt, I liked it a lot, great levels. Problem was, it was a pain to get.

yeah. I think they dont really have it up here in the bay area. I'm talking to a guy in LA that is willing to do a few group buys a year. He said like quarterly. we will have to buy 100 buckets tho.

anyone know a comparo with this and Tropic Marine Pro other than the price? (I will be using a Ca Reactor). I just want the best salt, not necessarily the best bang for the buck.

I was going to buy a bunch of TMP, though if oceanpure is up to par with TMP then I'd be down for this Group Buy =)

FWIW they're most likely talking about Ocean Pure PRO There's a difference.

They make two versions

I've used the regular version for four months and the pro version the last month, did not notice any difference. I get it in Oakland.
These were the prices if I remember correctly.

Ocean Pure 200G box $33.00
Ocean Pure Pro 150G bucket $37.00
