Group buy on PAR meters

They have enough people, but I thought this should be passed on. They are working on a group buy for PAR meters and needed enough people to get it going. Now it's going and there is a great price on the PAR meter. Not a bad thing for any club to own. I'm getting one for myself (have some extensive testing in mind once I get the apparatus built), and thought others might be interested since there is such a large discount.

Thats a great deal anyone wanting one would be crazy not to jump on it.. The only very minor drawback is the meter they are getting isn't dual calibrated.. Not a huge deal but it won't work for low K bulbs like 6500k or less.. Well it will work just the readings will be off.. The other thing is you need to make sure the one they are getting is one calibrated for sunlight.. You dont want it calibrated for electric lamps for testing anything over around 6500k.. It doesn't really say details on the group buy.. But I'm assuming everyone has to buy the same model meter. So just check the above to make sure you get what you need. I've been happy with my meter from them so far.. I've only had it a few months though.. I did A ton of research before I bought the Apogee. Apogee does build to order also.. So don't expect it in a day or two.. I waited about 2 weeks or so for mine.. With such a large order lead time might be longer.
