Depending on what you want, you may also want to consider ReefTopia. They will presort and prebag everything. We've had a couple of group orders with them and have had very few problems... Well, I think John had some problems with his order... but the others were really smooth, including one I did.

The company is run by two brothers. Joseph does most of the diving and collecting, John takes care of the website and most of the business end. I have hung out a little on their forum and these guys are on top of things. They are extremely conscious and loyal to the ethics behind their methods of collecting everything posted on Reef Cleaners site.
I received an email this morning from John asking for info that he might lock in one or two day shipping. The group buy will be open until the last order can be shipped by Aug 8th, day before the Club meeting.
Here is some info on the purchasing, bagging and such:

Because group buys are likely to qualify for free shipping, just tell MTRC members to use the free shipping option "Group Buy". We will package all of their orders seperately, and mark them by the individuals name. So all you will have to do on pickup day is hand them the bags with their name on them. If for some reason your group buy does not qualify for free shipping, we will bill each of your members a pro-rata difference for the shipping costs. It will be based on total amounts of their orders.

Have members mention MTRC Group Buy in the note field during checkout. Shop here, and pay here and when the deadline arrives for us for that week's shipment all of those in are good to go. No need to front money, no need to add up totals, or answer emails, or talk to unsure shoppers. We will even send you a template post to help you explain the rules of the group buy to your members.

you guys should maybe order from someone else unless you want some tiny snails because thats what you'll get from Reef Cleaners. I bought some snails about 4 months ago and was really disappointed with what I got.

To me they have very little selection! I would have to say I'm not as happy with reeftopia's recent orders like the one I've done in the past. Their live stocks just isn't as healthy as they were before. They were way smaller this time then before as well.....But they have a lot more selection then Reef Cleaners that's for sure.....

The group buy ends on August 5th so that the shipment will arrive before our Meeting at Howard's on August 9th. I will recieve the total package and will have them for distribution at our meeting. If you are not going to make it to the meeting let me know if you All of the packages will be labeled individually.

A few of us in N. AL did a group buy with reefcleaners, and I was happy with my order. There was 1 problem with the group order but it was promptly refunded. John sent us an email when he shipped the order, and even linked a google map of the address he shipped it to since it was all being sent to one persons house. Just my 2¢

Seagrass!! It is now in stock. I can't wait to set up a seagrass tank. Maybe add an elegance anenome in the future. I am taking Monday Aug 10th to get my tanks up and running. Caint wait

WOOHOO! Had some extra income come in. Got an extra check out of the blue! I thought it was a mistake so I went and asked our secretary and she told me "Nope! That was from May!" I was excited to say the least.

Anyway, when do they take the 25% off, Dawg? Is it at the checkout or afterward?

I'm going to grab a few things and see what happens.

I've purchased from these guys before as well and been very pleased. They are quite personable and both orders they put a couple of extra small things in. When are you going to order Dawg?

I have already ordered. The total of both orders is close to $100. I got some stuff, then two days later they added a bunch of new macros and seagrass. Couldn't help it. It all seems so cheap individually and then after my cart is full... can't wait to get everything.

The group buy ends on the 5th.

Brandon, I used paypal and didn't see the 25% taken off. I emailed John who replied saying that checked the setup and it works. He is going to manually discount my order because I forgot to use MTRCGB in the discount code option at the very end. If you aren't going to be at the meeting I will give you a call as soon as everything comes in, but we should know in advance.
