I believe in one of the threads someone talked about a group purchase. Did they already happen?

If not, anyone interested in ordering from World Wide Corals? I know several of you have emailed me you were interested in ordering some rics together over the last few months or so. You may have already picked up what you needed, but if not, are you interested in ordering? Their website shows $15 each, but if we get enough we probably can get a lower group price and free shipping if we can get to $299. I was really happy with the ones I picked up from them a few weeks ago.

Of course if anyone wants to pick some other corals, we can use that to get to the free shipping threshold.

I spoke to the store today and we can get 10 rics for $100 or $10 each (plus shipping). Does that spark any interest? That is a great price and some of the nicest rics I have seen.

Once again, shipping is free after $300. If we only get 20, that would still only be $12 each (including shipping). 30 rics and the shipping is free, or a net cost of $10 a ric.

Of course they have other corals if anyone else wants to add those in....

I have no set timeframe. I guess we need to see if we have enough interest to put one together. I am looking at getting another 10 rics, so that puts us at $100, so we need $200 more.

Let's decide by this weekend and if we are going forward, and maybe order early next week? We can either ship them to my office, and we can meet there, or somewhere closer to everyone. If someone is home we can ship it there.

Jay, if you order, you probably will have SPS that you may want to get into your tank asap, so if you are home one day next week we can ship to your house and we can pick up after work?

So before we can order, we have to decide where we are all happy picking up our orders. If no one else really cares, I will have them sent to my office and we can go from there. My office is off I-40 at Whitten. Jay also lives fairly close to here as well. If I take them home, I live in Davies Plantation (north of Wolfchase mall).

Once again, we need to get to $300 for free shipping. It is hard to say where we stand since a couple of folks are maybe's and I don't know what everyone is buying.

If you are in, maybe confirm this weekend (Sunday night) and a ballpark of your potential order so we confirm we hit the $300 mark?

Chris: Are you looking at rics or something else? Of course they only have a few pics of the hundreds they have in stock. I see four that catch my eye and someone PM'ed me they had their eye on one. Not sure the fairest way to pic? Of course, if we wait someone else may get them? We also need to give everyone a cut-off so they can close it out and process the order.

What is the fairest way to select?

A couple of folks were just wanting a few rics. I am okay letting some get in on the 10 for $10 with me if they want. However, I want a least 5. Otherwise, others will need to group together to get multiples of 10 and pay accordingly (one payer). Of course if you want 10 on your own you are good to go.....

I will ask them to post more rics pics...I assume that should not be an issue....

Otherwise, I guess you are good to go. I just emailed them the group purchase ID tonight so if you called first thing in the AM and they haven't read their email they may not be up to speed. Ask for Ryan and the ID I used is WTMRAC. They are allowing us to all pay seperately. They are also waiting on the address. I am not sure if they will hold it up until we decide or not, but it shouldn't matter. I want to let Jay see if he wants to send it to his house first.

I would think that you may want to get the item number off the ones you want (xx-xx) and call them. Otherwise, if you try to do it online it may try to add shipping? I may get some more clarity tomorrow when they get my email. However, tomorrow is my travel day and I may be delayed in relaying updates as I will be on a couple of flights tomorrow. However, I don't want you to miss anything, so I would go ahead and do your thing. Once again, just ask for Ryan as he is in sales and the others may not be in the loop....
