you couldn't be more right, benny. as i was doing my research to see/make sure this place was legit, i have found that they are really p!ssing off their retailer buyers because they are willing to sell at near wholesale prices to clubs on group buys. however, it seems they might be selling more to the clubs then the retailers, so it makes it worth while for them

Right now I'm looking at wanting a Laboutie, lineatus and a Crosshatch not sure if I want a male or female yet as the price difference is big. Although the internet prices on crosshatch trigger is just crazy more than double what Alex wants. I want a Chevron as well. To many fish.

Also note to anyone who is interested, Alex said he could hold the hard to get fish such as some of the Wrasses/ angels for a week or two. We also need to give him 2 - 3 weeks notice on the order as it might take him a while to get a hold of some of the fish.
Alex also mentioned he can get big fish, he said most of the prices are for small to medium fish. But he can get very large tangs. He said he catches full sized yellow tangs for $35 and he can get giant Unicorn and Naso tangs. Those Tangs in the wild get to 18 inches or more.

Ok guys I need to start getting a list of what everyone wants. I need to give Alex as much time as possible to get the fish we want. A lot of this stuff he catches with a hand net and he needs some notice so he knows what to look for.
Also when he needs to know what to get us before he places his order for fish from Australia as he can add extras in there for us.
Right now we should be looking at either the 2nd or third Sunday of September. He needs to ship our stuff out ASAP whenever it comes in and he made it clear that he doesn't want to hold a large number of fish for more than a few days.
I’d prefer to have this list by the end of the week.
And as mentioned before, if you are not willing to pick the fish up with in a few hours of me getting back to town please don’t place a order or request fish the list I will send in.

I have already spoken with him about the Helfrichi via the phone and it's hard for him to get a hold of them. He said he has to trade with other whole sellers to get them.
He didn't give me a price but if you want in on this order just for this fish you can add it to the list and see what he says. What's the worst that will happen? You just cancel your order.

I will no longer be PM or emailing price lists unless you say you are interested in the group buy and live in the area.
And if you are interested in this group buy please don't send Alex emails. I would like to deal with all of this so I know what is going on with this group buy and what you want.

OK, I didn't see this thread for a couple of days.
Here's what I said, or meant to say:
I work within spitting distance from O'hare. I'm happy to pick up the box for all, inspect if needed, etc.
I drive nearly every day from O'hare to Naperville, where I live. If anyone wants to pick up their stuff there, happy to have it there - no sweat for me.
I have 2 airplanes in Naperville. Depending on the plane I use, it takes me from 30-45 minutes to get to Bloomington from Naperville. I'm happy to bring the fish your way.
I fly to Rod's often, and have flown a few members on the board to Rhinelander, etc. If you guys are interested and feel like it would save the drive for someone, let me know. 773 314 3008.
