Just to clarify for you Jared, I wasn't at all upset. I was just wondering if they could just postpone 12 hours since there's not much benefit to you getting it at 1am. I also would feel bad if livestock were to be lost just so we could save some money by doing it this way. I'm sure it will be fine though and I certainly appreciate everything you've done to make these happen. After the last one being so late for everyone, especially your family, I became certain that I wouldn't want to be in your shoes! Thank the wife for us too because I'm sure that wasn't her regular routine to host a room full of men eagerly awaiting their new critters. The neighbors probably thought it was a tupperware party! ;o)

If I can pick up by 10 or 11, I'll come by tonight. Otherwise, I'll wait until Thursday.

yeah im with azhunter and jetman5443 too but i was am also concerned about the temperature of the livestock. do the boxes they come have any insulation im them? and is it customary to leave them in the box they come in until pick up? And Jared thanks again for all that you have done for all of us. it is an awesome opportunity that you have created for us all to get what we want and save us some money at the same time.

Clint - I know you weren't upset. And thank you for your concern.

Everybody - I agree, it will be too much hassle to unpack everything. They will be better off in the bags. I will check to make sure there are no broken bags. If there are I'll take care of it.

Ok, here is the latest. They are going to pack everything at about 6 or 7 tonight. It will be at the airport about 8. Ussually Southwest takes a few hours to get them shipped. And it depends on if there are even flights going out tonight for them to put the order on. So, PU will be tomorrow. The flight may not even come in till tomorrow morning so just plan on PU on Thursday. I will post as soon as I have a flight time so that you can know what the earliest PU time will be.
 
evolust - I think they had the lavender in stock.

sir_dudeguy - I won't know until they pack it this evening.
 
Hey Jared evolust will be picking up my stuff for me again. I appreciate you putting this together but I gotta be honest. The bait and switch sucks. I know it is not your fault but if I knew it was going to be like this again I would have opted out.
 
His problem is the same as most others, they work until 5 during the week. And most could pick up at 6 or 7pm on Thursday but then their stuff has been in a bag for 24+ hours. I know that they are rated for up to 48 hours but we all know that every minute longer in a bag the chance of survival goes down. I dont understand why the supplier is shipping at this time, I would think with an order this size they would be willing to work with you? Please dont take this as me being upset, I just know that since things wont be picked up til the morning and evening that we will have more losses, just hoping mine are not one of them. I still thank you for putting this together, we just need the supplier to work a bit harder, or find a different one. Thanks Again!

I usually schedule myself about a week in advance and I stay pretty busy. So I am scheduled to meet with you today for this pick up and I have something else going on tomorrow.
 
Besides a garranty they are delivered live, is there any other garranty about how long... like a 4 day or something like that?

This might be a dumb question, but this is the first time that I have done something like this.
 
With most arrive alive guarentees it is void as soon as you open the box and take inventory. So the livestock shows up at midnight or even 8 in the morning and you take inventory. you have a few losses that you report and you are covered. I get there 10 hours later and my stuff has died in the bag. I am S.O.L. I could be wrong but that is how I understand it. That is what is so frustrating about all of this. Again I commend you for taking this on. I have had very good luck with group buys so far so let's see what happens before the flaming begins.;) :D ;)
