Groups of clowns

So i have a 40 gal tank that i just added into my tank system and im trying a group of 8 OCC clowns in the tank with some anems. Right now there is 2 Blacks 2 nakeds and a4 reg Occ clowns. I have 1 LTA anem a RBTA and a sebae anem in the tank. Really so far there is no aggresion what so ever has anyone tried anything like this with success in the past? If i see aggresion i have the ability to remove the fish so im not going to let anything die i just wanted to try this out and see if it would work most of the fish are juviniles right now. Also there is a SMALL yellow tang in setup and a Blotched anthias. This is all conected into my main system so filtration is not a issue. So does anyone have any input on this has anyone else tried a similiar situation.

well, in my 40 breeder i have 2 GSM clowns and 2 clarkii adults. they each have two anemone's to themselves and they sometimes even share an anemone with each other. no aggression in over 4 months. so i'd say go for it.

4 months is no where long enough. The odds are very good that once one of those pairs starts to spawn you will have only one pair. I had both of those clowns (( spawning )) and they get very aggressive. And I hope your sig isn't right for what you all have in that tank.

ha yea thanks for pointing that out. i havent exactly been updating my sig regularly. i actually no longer have the tangs or damsels

Holy cow that's quite a cocktail of fish/nems for a 40g!
For a 40g, wouldn't go w/ more than one nem, and for sure only one pair of clowns.
And a YT and anthias?

The thing is, that all those nems are going to get big, very big, and being diff species may be a problem.
If you had say a couple BTA's grouped tight, that would be OK, but those 3 are going to need space between.
They are going to outgrow that tank real quick, if not too tight already.
Group of clowns from same clutch is OK, but otherwise just one pair.

the clowns is more of a expierment ill be able to move them as needed if they get to rough. The other anems are now gone seeing as to how the sebae is pretty much gonna die must not have gotten a healthy specimen and my BTAS are now in my 120gal display on there own so the LTA gets the 40 to himself with some clownfish and the anthias are being moved into my 120 gal display once im confident they wont get ick. BTW the clowns are all ORA captive bred so they are used to being in groups so far i see little to no aggresion amongst them and my blacks are considerably larger then the rest overall im pretty happy with the results but i have no intention of letting any fihs get killed here i have plenty of tank space to seprate if i need to.

I've read about chem warfare between nems, and could be the case w/ sebae.
I also attempted multiple clowns many years ago against advice of exp reefers, and THOUGHT I had success, until like overnight came home to one dead clown and 2 badly scarred clowns, happens fast.
Even captive bred ORA will get aggro w/ maturity, unless like I said earlier from same clutch, such as Moberts.
