Growing Pains - Please Be Patient

Hi All,
I first wanted to say Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays to all here on Reef Central. I work for a 100 million dollar company that has gone throught the same problems that Marine Depot is going throught now by changing software to service its customers BETTER in the future. The "can" programs that companies buy take time to work the bugs out. It took are company 4 months to achieve the transfer to the new program. I have bought and will continue to buy knowing that this is still a GREAT place to do business with, understanding the changes there going through.
Please everyone be patient I know all the great people there at Marine Depot will do there very best to help you with any all problems with your orders.

Merry Xmas to All - Have a great holiday.
Don't forget to buy your little "FIN" friends something nice to.

Darrell;) :)

I work for a 12 billion campany that has done that too. But they have done it using beta servers to have clients test the program for more than 1 year to get it working as required by our SOW. I will always buy from MarineDepot. I just feel that this is a bad time to have this done; especially, without proper testing and debugging. I really need things from them before the Christmas break. :)

If Santa doesn't bring me the fish stuff I circled in my Marine Depot catalog, can I just blaim Marine Depot? LOL

I've never ordered anything live from them but I like Marine Depot for dry goods. I'll still use them even though they've had a couple of issues.

I'll continue to use Marine Depot as well. BUT as Wahshk said this timing is awful. It really should be done January as volume drops off rather than the beginning of December when it's at it's highest.

But, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. There can easily be factors here that would require them to make such a move. And I also understand that not everyone has the time and resources to test entirely.

It's a minor annoyance for me. But I like the website and I've had ZERO problems with service to date. I'll stick with them.
