Growth for favia

Whats the growth rate for favia? I have christmas favia and wondering how long before I should see the colony start growing. They are looking very healthy but had them for about 2 months

From what I understand, favias are generally slow growers. Someone more knowledgeable should chime in here to correct me if I'm wrong.

Very slow... target feed them 2/3 x a week and it will help... but don't expect them to grow fast

Mine grow faster than my chalices and slower than my duncans. Medium growers imo.

I have one that only had 2 heads when I first got it about a year ago and has grown 3 heads sense. So I would say very slow grower compared to all the other corals in my tank. Sad thing is I have this bad habit of not gluing things down and found it sitting on top of my goblins of fire chalice this morning. Needless to say I’m thinking the chalice won.

Well Im familiar with their growth for softies, but not LPS. I know LPS are slower but just trying to get an idea of how much growth to expect and know they are doing well.
