Just wanted to show everybody the growth rate of my Acro under my new Led's from Apollo Reef.....I think they and doing a very good job....the first pic is a pink milli i put in my system on 12/28/11....and the second pic is of the same pink milli just taken yesterday 2/6/12...time span of about 5 weeks of being under the new Led's....let me know what you think....

pic of same milli on 2/6/12
the pics are not that good because my camera took a dump on me so i have to use my phone camera

I want to start into the Acro but i had to make sure the will thrive under my new Led lights .....so i went out and bought a couple of run of the mill milli's to see if they will do ok.....so if some of you SPS collectors can let me know if this milli is growing fast or should it be growing faster in this time span.....thanks

Just looked them up and they look to make some awesome affordable lights! I hate to get off the original topic but can you post your tank size and how many units are over your tank? I would like to see the spread also.

That's awesome for 5 weeks!

i have a 6' tank and am running 3 of the new controlable fixtures...controled by my Apex...the fixtures are about 10" above the water line...the tank is 20" deep and the milli is about 6" off the bottom.....the spead of these fixtures are great......i am running my blues at 100% and my whites at 30%

i took a better pic about 10 minutes ago......it was takin about the same time of day as the first pic of when i first got the milli......my lights are controled by my Apex with ramping so i wanted to get close to the same color temp in the pics....it really colored up also

Growth looks normal to me........the color looks the same, but it's hard to tell with the blue tint to the pictures. There's a lot of variables involved other than lights. If the coral is growing & coloring to your tastes, all is good.
