gsm, add mate? anemone?

I have a nice, healthy female GSM in my 90 gallon. She's about 3 inches. The other fish are a blue tang, midas blenny, and green mandarin. For keeping her in the community tank, will she get more aggressive if I add a mate?
What about an anemone? I was considering the rose bulb tip, but not sure if I have enough light. I have 4X54 watt T5's w/ the tek fixture. Should this anemone be safe with the other fish? Thanks!

a bubble tip would do fine with your other fish, and I can practically garentee your maroon would host it the same day you got it.

Im not sure about your lighting. Dont know much about tek 5's but nems need alot of light. 5 watts per gallon at least. I have a 250watt mh over a 45 gallon tank and its thriving. when i had 96 watts pc it was dieing.

as for adding a mate... Ive did it. and so have many others. id suggest reading alot of info about it first since maroons are pretty mean to the mate at first. there are techniques you want to use.

first since yours is already large and single, its a female. you'll want to find the tinyest juvi you can. qt it as needed. when you add it to your reef, put it in a specimin container with holes drilled in it, and put it as close to the large maroons 'spot' as you can. she'll attack the box and freak out.

depending on how things look, let the juvi out anywhere from 1-2 days, even longer.

female will most likely chase it, bite it, dart it, and be very mean. DONT pull the juvi out unless you REALLY think it'll die. it takes a few days. I had a nem when i introduced my juvi, dident make much of a difference in my situation.

she let the juvi in after 2 days and theyve been hanging out together ever since. no eggs yet, but im hopeful :)

here is mine she is about 4 inches
she let the small one in about 4 days after I added him she ignored him the whole time up to that.

Should I add the fish first and then the anemone? I thought I read somewhere about letting them mate up before the female becomes protective of the anemone, but can't remember.

yeah probley be easier if she wasent freaking out about the nem at the same time. id add the juvi first

or put her in a container next to the nem let him get used to the tank then let her in if he hides in the nem when she is attacking him she will calm down faster
