GSM and WSM clowns in same tank?

I am getting a 45 gallon tank today and have a question about the maroon that is already coming with the tank.

On our local MAS site there's a member selling a GSM for quite a good price. Would it be possible to have a GSM and a WSM clown in the same tank of this size?

I am fairly certain the answer is no, but I was more so wondering because I didn't know if the GSM knew it had gold stripes nor if the white-striped variety knew it had white ones....basically I am wondering if they will soon kill eachother....
