GSM Pairing (rearrange rocks)

So I just purchased another GSM (smaller) and was hoping it would be a little easy but of course not. The LFS finally had one so I HAD to get him and make this work. I have had him in an overflow box hanging on the side for 3 hours last night and decided to throw him in the tank for the night. On came the lights and they went at it, and to get them out i had to take some rocks out. Back into the overflow he go's. So my next question would be should I leave him in there longer and wait this out or use my day off rearrange my rocks give them some time in a rubbermaid tub and throw them back in a "new territory" inculding everyone? All info is accepted dont be affraid to be blunt.

I just went through the same thing, although I kept the new clown in a clear container in the tank for 2 days. When the aggression seemed to stop I let the new clown free. The old clown beat up the new one for a few minutes until the new, smaller clown started fighting back. The old clown got the s**t beat out of it.

I put a gbta in the tank a few days later and the new clown instantly fell in love with it. It's been over two weeks now and the clowns don't show any violent behavior towards each other. The new one is letting the old one come closer and closer to the anemone each day. They're very close in size and I'm not sure if they are pairing or just tolerating.

How big is your tank? If the new one can stay away for a few days they should simmer down.

Any other input??? Can someone explain the movement or actions the fish will make when i know that it is ok for contact. They have already had a brawl at each other while there fins have been mangled.
