GSM pushing sand away to glass bottom

i have a pair of GSM that are pushing sand away and have now made a nice hole in my sand bottom they seem to be using the hole as a host..they have layed bafore but have just been moved to a smaller tank some rock work FWLRO.. anyone ever saw this before???

That is what clowns do, some are worse then others at it.

My maroon is terrible. My sandbed is anywhere from 1/2" to 8", depending on what side of the tank she decides to destroy.
