it came off a wild colony that my LFS gave to a guy to color up then chopped up, its pretty different than the classic ATL meteor shower, i dont know any online stores that sell something similar, i call it the "Wild Teal Meteor shower". i know a couple other guys got frags my size and someone in the DC metro area has the mother.

if you really want a peice let me know and i could cut a frag off and get it encrusting for you and we can do a trade or something when you are ready for corals. :)

thanks tommy I saw you added sand too :) you happy with it so far?

I have spent the last two hours trying to get my sand to sit still in the front of the tank, just dosed some pohls coral snow, will try a FTS when the cloud clears

I'm very happy with the sand. I just have to get off my lazy @$$ to take some pictures. The two best changes are the extra light in the tank and the change in my snowflake eels behavior. He is out and about all the time cruising along the sand now and he seems to have make a home under a rock by digging out the sand. 4" of tail out the back and another 4" of head in the front.... he's not that bright.

I added a little coral sand in the right places to help with that but still am having problems. Your high flow shallow tank must be almost impossible to keep the sand where you want it.

BTW I finally received my student visa today! Now I just have to reapply to my program and hope I get accepted again.

Fingers crossed, that's great news now if we can just get you off the FBI's no fly list you will be all set.;)

You thinking about starting again in the fall?
