How do I know if my GSMs are too rough on my BTA? I have a 4-5 inch BTA and 2 small GSMs that play in it but the anemone contracts sometimes. When do I know if they are too rough and to separate them?
If the anemone seems to be failing in health, then separate them. If the anemone is ~3 times in diameter as the length of the fish, you should be fine. If the anemone stops eating or starts to move to get away from the fish, then it might be time to split them up.
Well my female is 2 inches. Does not fully expanded account for bad health? When the anemone was at the store it had a GSM in it bigger than mine so I figured it would be fine. Hopefully they settle down.
keep them all very well fed and keep water quality high...just like you, when they arent hungry and have a happy environment, they do better and treat their friends well
