GSP covered in sand

Well I wasn't home this weekend so my step dad was giving me updates on the tank. Gsp was initially on my middle rock then the next day he ended up on the sand but was fully open. Today he told that he can't even find the frag now. By the way i do have a pistol shrimp. So my question is will the drag be ok till I get home today
