What is the best way to controll the spread of GSP's? They are getting out of control!
I read something about a kalk paste maybe. Any good GSP killers out there?

Sometimes, if it's just loosly attached. If it has fully attached itself then you are going to have to scrape it off. Just get a razor blade and get underneath it.

Isolate the rock it's growing on. Separate the GSP rock from the main rock pile. I don't think it will grow across sand and if it does you can cut it with a pare of scissors.

I tried the "pull it off" method with some success but some of the rocks it's growing on are very porous and have a very irregular surface. I bought a bottle of Kalk Wasser powder at the LFS and I am going to make a paste, put it in a syringe, and with all flow in the tank turned off, very carefully apply it to the areas I want to die. I'm going to use no more than 5ml. of the paste per day and if anybody's interested I'll post the results here.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Mine seems to wither off to a few polyps. The reason ? I placed it at the end where the water flow exit from my Tunze 6100 wavemaker. From a rock full of it till it lessen to only a few polyp. I may have to shift it to another place where the flow is weaker.

OK so I did a "trial run" on a Majano(?) anemone and the kalk paste killed it. There are some Palythoa very close to where the anemone was and they suffered no harm. Next on the hit list, the GSP.
Good idea with the excessive water flow, might be anothe way to contain the spread.
