GSP questions?

I picked up GSP at the St James meet a few months ago. It is doing very well in my new 90g. Today I noticed a few GSP polyps growing on some rock very far away from the where the GSP is placed. I have had this particular rock for a few years, never noticed the GSP growing on it before.

Does GSP propagate this way? That is, will it spread to far reaches of the tank?

The few polyps on the rock are right next to some small Kenya tree (that is taking over every tank). Who will win the battle if I let nature take its course?

On that note, how can I control the growth of the Kenya tree? Will anything eat it and not other things?

It's possible a small chunk was broken off, by a fish, moving a rock...and they will grow very rapidly, so beware!!! :)

GSP's are less of a PITA than Kenya's IMO. You just have to watch em. I agree w/Geo, they would have had to get some help to jump that far.

As for Kenya's, they "throw" frags and can be a real nuisance. I don't know of anything that will help besides the grip-n-rip method.

Hey Dave I say we start that farm you talked about:rollface: I brlive we'll need atleast a half acare:rollface: I even have them growing on the glass in the back of the tank and I tried to keep them in one spot for this tank.
My wrasse sometimes brushes against my gsp and a tiny piece will break of
