GSP questions

So I got a nice sized piece of rock with some green star polyps, some richordia florida , and some paly polyps as hitch hikers. For the past 2 days the gsp's havent open up at all. everything else seems to be doing well. I was dosing under the recommended amount with coral excel and once a week with essential elements. i have no clue what could have happened to cause them to stay tucked away. Any thoughts/ comments??

Hi is the green star polpys mat still nice and purple. If they are your fine. they may stay close for up to a week.

Hey seafrog, yes they are, thanks for the info, i guess ill just keep an eye on them.

I will second what seafrog said....you prolly just need to be a little patient.

Additives like Coral Accel and Essential Elements are IMHO completely unnecessary, as long as you do regular water changes.

GSP is one of the easiest corals. Watch out if it starts growing...
