I bought some live rock from these guy's, it has a lot of plant like seaweed growing on it also some bubble algae. I have it in a saltwater storage bin with a heater and power head. It looks just like the photo's on their website with the plant life on it. I'm not sure if I want to use it with the algae plant life all over it. Should I try it scrub it off.

A pic might help ID the seaweed, but bubble algae is definitely not something you want to introduce into any SW aquarium.

If you are setting up a reef tank and don't want macros, sure take a steel brush to it. In a low nutrient reef tank, most, if not all will die off.

I bought the same rock and put it into my high nutrient, marine planted tank. The plants that grew from the rock are amazing and doing quite well.

So it depends on what you want to do. You might should have bought their coralline rock instead, if you have no interest in plants. On the upside, having some macros at the start of your tank could help outcompete nuisance algae.

I pulled all the plants off and then scrubbed them and changed the water in the bin, I bought these for my 11 year old Sps tank to add to the sump. I don't want the plants. Maybe I should have just bought the coraline rock but I thought these would have more beneficial bacteria on them.
