Gulfstream II mod for maxijet 1200...

I finally got my mod kits yesterday. I put two of the beasts on each side of my 220 gallon. MEGAFLOW!!! Let me just say these things can move some water!

I am having problems with them making a grinding noise. Not all the time, but I have to keep unplugging them and plugging them back in to make them start properly.

Anyone else have this problem with this particular mod?

I hear this is some kind of stopper for these. Where can I find them?

Does anyone know where these thrust washers go on the shaft? Maybe that is what is starting them incorrectly.
