Guy feeds his fish a LIVE mouse!!

I think my 15 inch Louti Grouper would do the same, he eats anything that hits the water!!!!ttp://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/16268514-inch-Louti-Grouper.jpg

When I had a freshwater I used to have a bass(baby) also.

They had gigantic appetites.
He would eat crayfish that were about twice it's length, it was fun to watch also.

Steve, your link brings up a spyware installer about 3 seconds after the video starts.

Nothing came up for me??

Well sorry about the spyware then guys..
It's metacafe which is usually pretty reputable?

Where is / does the peacock bass come from?

I got the spyware the first time I loaded it, but not any other times. I don't think it's a peacock bass. Peacocks have a much more narrow anus area and a large spot to the rear. Also, they are usually more of a gold color than green. I may be off base, but I think it was just a common largemouth bass. I've seen 18" arrowanas do the same. And I have seen a very big LMB swallow a young duck whole.

That didn't look like a peacock bass to me either, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. They're known to be super aggressive game fish. They're really cichlids.

south america, think maybe florida also

Native to south America. Plague in nothern America :D

Peacocks were introduced to Florida intentionally...lord knows why. Anyway, I didn't think it was a peacock. I used to keep a largemouth bass until she outgrew a 55 gallon tank. I believe this is a largemouth or smallmouth bass. From a distance the look very similar.
