I have two Ocellaris clowns in my 90 gal. that I recently started. The clowns have been in the tank for about two weeks. I purchased them at a local LFS, they were the same size, about 2". Maybe I've been staring at my tank too long, but one started to look larger than the other, and its' colors were turning a deeper orange. I speculated that this fish was turning female.
Today I was staring at my rocks and tank (as usual) and noticed the male (?) clown swimming a bit funny. Then he started vibrating/gyrating in front of the female (?). Is this a spawning/pairing behavior? If not, what does this indicate?
I'm new to the hobby and just fascinated, lol.
