H. crispa or aurora

Can anyone offer any advise (placement, flow, lighting, hardiness, etc.) on either of these nem's? My LFS has a nice one of each and both seem healthy, sticky and eating.

Thanks

Hi,
I had an aurora for almost a year, until it was stung my my LT, and died...
In my opinion, they are one of the most beautiful anemones. They require quite a deep sandbed - IMO min 4", and will host many species of clowns and inverts. My tomato clowns were quite happy to call it home, until they found something bigger. I was really sorry to see it go, and hope to find another one. But do a bit of research. There is a very similar imposter - not sure what its scientific name is - but I have one and have relegated it to my sump. Its coloration is almost identical, but the tips of the tentacles are NOT rounded like the aurora. IMO, much nicer than the more common crispa.
A little finicky for sure, though. Keep your pumps off for a while when you get it, as mine had difficulty burrowing if it was being blown about. Please post pics if you get one. I miss mine!

Crispa's get pretty big, about 2 feet in diameter, so keep that in mind.
They require strong light, a DSB, and medium to strong flow.
