H. Mag with other anemone's

Has anyone successfully kept an H. Mag with other anemone's? A local LFS has one in stock that is just beautiful. I'd very much like to get it, but I'm worried that it would not do well in my anemone tank. I currently have a dozen BTA's, one LTA and one Haddoni. All successfully together, but I'm worried to put the H. Mag. with them.
Let me know what you think.

The chemical warfare.
You have three different species, from three different genera. If you add a mag, that would be four different genera in the same tank.
How long have you had these three genera together?

about 6 months. so far so good, but I fully understand that the results aren't typical. I've seen my BTA's lying on top of my haddoni and my LTA without any problems. The LTA and the haddoni are on opposite sides of the tank, so I don't expect they'll touch each other. The haddoni is about 18 inches in diameter. I make sure it doesn't get fed any more. It's doing well. The LTA I put in 6 months ago. I got it really small and try not to feed it to much (knowing how large it will get), it's continued to grow but is still only around 8 inches in diameter now. The BTA's all range in size some green, some red. So far all are doing well. I have had some color issues (bleaching) with the BTA's when I switched from MH's to LED's, but I've since switched back and their color is slowly returning to normal. I run carbon, biopellets, and purigen.

i have had magnificas do fine with bubble tips and crispas. without running carbon.

i have not had good success with carpets and magnificas in the same system.

I have mine in a 70 with a hadonni. No problems so far and it's been 4 months at least. I did have BTAs in there too but I took them out and put them in another tank.

Anemones can survive in harsh conditions for quite a long time. Four, six, eight, months really isn't a sign of success.

That's pretty much been my experience as well. Although I don't keep BTA's. I've kept Heteractis, like crispa and magnifica, and even malu together without any real noticeable issues. I am now keeping Stichodactyla together, (Haddoni and gigantea) without issues. I was keeping two magnificas in with the Stichodactyla, but I was changing water, and carbon, like crazy just to keep the mag's stationary. Eventually, it just became to much, and I pulled the mags.

Alright EC, so what time period would you call successfully kept together? I don't gauge success on how long they live together, I gauge it on their growth (with coloration etc) over that time period. Let me know, in your wisdom, when I can say that I've successfully kept these nems together and I'll post my results then.
In the mean time, I decided to get the H. Mag. I acclimated it for an hour and then put it on the pedestal in my tank near the surface. It seems to be doing ok so far. I'll keep everyone posted in a new thread.

I have a mag with S.haddoni, H.crispa. S.gigantea and H.malu. I don't use carbon. the mag has been with the haddoni for at least two years, the malu for a few months, the gigantea a few months and the crispa for just a couple of days but I don't think there will be any issues.

Ive had an S. Gigantea since october of 2010 and also have had a H. Mag anemone since March of 2011. The S. gigantea came partially bleached and made a great recovery. The H. Mag came I would 90-95% bleached and has recovered somewhat, but never has made a full recovery in my personal opinion. Even with feedings and everything. It stays in once place and always has since being placed in the tank. So I would say its probably iffy on these guys being put together, I do think I will end up moving mine out of this tank eventually, but not sure If I should since he seems to be happy and not colorless. So I would the majority will tell you that its not going to work as its probably pretty true.

Oh also to note, I moved in September, so the tank and everyone made it moving just fine, but I would say that throws the tank off for a while as it makes a recovery from moving. So not sure what to think of it all

Well, its in my tank and has walked off my pedistal. I'm thinking too much light? It was directly under my MH. As it walked down it bumped into 2 different bta's. Neither parties liked that very much and reacted when they touched each other. The worst part about it was that it moved right down beside my very large haddoni. I thought all hell would break loose. It crawled a quarter of the way underneath the mantle of the haddoni and neather reacted in the least bit. Its now been shoulder to shoulder with it for several hours now with no visible reaction. It seems to like the spot its at.
Question: how much flow do u guys recommend for these h. mags? My sicce's are on 45 second timers and the movement in the tank seems good, but it seems like some guys are purposely putting a large amount of flow on these nems. Any advice?
