I bought a H. Magnifica from Reefhotspot.com. that I received it today. This is a picture after 5 min in my tank.

What do you think?

My ritterii came just like that. In a matter of a day, its mouth was closed, and my clowns were thrashing around in it.

Can you see a hole all the way through the anemone? If so, its a goner.

I'd get that clown out of the anemone for now. It may bother the anemone. I've seen them come back from worst than that. Keep good conditions and see what happens.

I also ordered my mag from reefhotspot. It came in just like that. Within a day it looked better and I've had it now for 9 months. Don't give up on it just yet, they get pretty stressed from shipping but they can come back!

5 minutes after shipping and place into the tank is not a good time to judge how healthy and anemone is. Wait until it is in for at least several hours at least.
They are very poor shipper. Buying H. magnifica online is like playing Russian Roulette. Good luck with him.

I've bought many anemones from RHS and they're one of my favorite online vendors. Give it a little bit of time and keep them posted on status.

Probably keep an eye on your amonnia/nitrites/nitrates to make sure it doesn't die a poison the tank. Hopefully its just in shock from the shipping. I got a long tentacle online and it looked real bad for the first few days.
