alright so last week i had problems with my new H.malu to attach anywhere for me to turn on my powerheads, well finally a location was found where it stayed when the powerheads were running again, well a few days later, as i was using my magfloat, it moved from the pressure and started tumbling again, and ever since, almost everymorning i wake up i go on a hunt to find the nem because took off around the tank at some point in the night. well i was told the other day that if it wont attach then its probably not a healthy nem, well its obvious that it mustve never attached it self so what do i do? is there anything i can change to help this nem be healthy enough? when it sits still it opens up wide and is beautiful and seems happy, then i wake up the next day, and its face down some where. what can i do?

How long has your tank been set up?
What are your parameters --- with numbers, "great" "spot on" etc, are meaningless
What lights do you have?
How deep is your sandbed?
What size tank?
What powerheads do you have?

I would use egg crate and build a cage (just the 4 sides and bury it a little under the sand and put you Malu into it. Hopefully the anemone Will eventually dig into the sand and attach himself to the bottom.

In addition to ToddTrex's questions, what does the anemone look like?
Are the tentacles fat and long?
Are they very short and bulbous?
What color is the anemone? Brown or green? or White and sort of see through?

If you could answer all these questions for us, it would greatly assist us in helping you determine what may be happening and give you a good chance to save this anemone.
