Haddoni and Maxi-Mini

Has anyone had experience with a Haddoni and a Maxi-Mini in the same tank? I discovered tonight that there was a Maxi-Mini clone that came up from the rockwork in my Haddoni Tank (I had the mother in there awhile back, pre-Haddoni). It has situated itself right on the rock next to the Haddoni.

They are actually touching, but the Maxi-Mini doesn't seem to care. You would think it would move down the rock face on the other side if it was being stung, yes? Are they perhaps compatible since they are both a type of carpet?

Odd. On the up side, yay for another maxi-mini clone!

Are you talking about the "Maxi-Mini" that gets several inches across, or the "Mini" that gets about the size of a quarter and splits often? I haven't seen the larger "Maxi-Mini" split.

I keep tapetum with haddoni and have never had a problem. They aren't touching though. I would just keep an eye on them. If there's no signs of stress, I wouldn't worry about it. My biggest concern would be the haddoni overgrowing the tapetum and smothering it.

Maxi-mini, ie pizza anemone. Mine have split a few tines, I just must have missed this one.

Thanks, I'm keeping an eye. It would be nice if they could co-exist!

They seem fine so far, and it's been a few weeks. Although the Haddoni keeps covering it. I assume it would move if it was unhappy!
