Haddoni on the move

I am past the two month mark on keeping him and he has looked great and behaved accordingly. Nothing has changed in my tank as far as parameters nor flow. I originally buried his foot in a place where he would be somewhat isolated from a lot of flow and near the clowns in hope of hosting them or eating them. He has since wondered around the corner of the rocks under a large overhanging piece of rock and into the dark and has been there for the past few days. He is still extremely sticky and fortunately I am able to get the tongs into his location to feed him krill.
I am looking for anyone with this type of experience and what the outcome may possibly be. I have 2 MP40's about three inches from the surface of my 120 in anti sync short pulse mode for a wave effect. he stood the flow for nearly two months without a problem. Will a carpet starve himself of light? Really not sure what to do.
Flow is also a must in my tank due to the SPS,

Is there a critter that could be bothering it? Do you have a pic we couls see of it before and after the move?

Certainly.I am worried that it might be a flow issue, but after being content for two months it makes me curious if there isn't something else. Everything in the tank steers clear of him with the exception of snails, who figure itout the hard way.

I have three carpets and two are out in the open and one is underneath an overhanging rock the same way and it has been that way for the last six months. It hasnt lost any color or size so I believe it is getting all its light from the reflection of the front glass. If yours decides it wants or needs more light it will come out.

Exactly. That's my point. They are motile creatures that live for hundreds of years in the wild. They are quite capable at finding a suitable spot and not starving themselves to death.

They like to have their foot between rock and sand, looks like it just getting settled inb. When it moved did it puul its foot all the way out of the sand? If not id like rkelman sais leave it alone! I also have 2 carpet a red and a blue so im a bit experenced w/ these guys! Good luck!

He left his foot buried in the sand and partially under the rock and made the journey around the rock like that. Really impressive actually. He is probably 8 to 10 inches wide when open so hopefully he at least expands himself so I can enjoy his presence a little more. Thanks for the help guys.
