haddoni open mouth rescue?

Just wondering if anyone has had a haddoni with an open mouth that they have rescued. I was following a thread in which the guy had a beautiful red/rainbow looking haddoni with the mouth inverted at times, but he hasn't given any updates. I'm just wondering if the open mouth is treatable, if so how or if it is the beginning of the end.

It's not at all uncommon for newly acquired S. haddoni anemones to have a slightly open mouth that periodically widens and tightens. What happens to the mouth over the subsequent few weeks is a good indicator whether the anemone will survive. If the gaping becomes larger and more frequent it's a reliable sign that the anemone is headed downhill.

The extent of things you can do to "help" is pretty well covered in the thread you referenced.

Cheers,

Depends on how you define "open" Very slightly open just after putting a Haddoni in your tank (( or just after eating/expelling waste )); I haven't had any issues. In this picture you can barely see the mouth, and it is slightly open, the Haddoni is still doing great. This is about 20 minutes after I put it in the tank,

Now, if it is open open and the stomach is being pushed out, I have never had one make it from that state. This is what I would consider open open,
