Haddoni Stung My Montipora. Chances of Survival?

I came home yesterday and noticed that something was wrong in the tank. Then i noticed it. I figured it is Karma for trying to get a RC rule change.

Here is the picture of the Mother Colony of my Yellow Base and Purple polyps montipora, how it looked a few days ago.

It has been glued to the same place for 6 months. A turbo snail must have forced it's way and it sent the montipora to the sand on top of my green haddoni. I moved it back to a high spot but it is looking pretty bad. It looks like it was stung in the white spot.

Here is what it looks like now.

The polyps are still open. Does it have a chance?

I have some frags in the basement so I can always pull one of those so it is not a total loss.

If there's a single polyp left, there's a chance IMO. I've seen corals come back from the brink. One of the parties needs to be moved. Since the anemone can do thi on its own, I'd guess the monti. I think continued insults from the carpet could potentially stress the monti to an early demise.

I have seen montipora that I thought were only skeletons come back. If I lose a coral, I seldom take it out of the aquarium. I've been pleasantly surprised on more than one occasion, especially with montiporas.

the carpet is looking great! Nice to see him 100% around again :-) I miss it! I Dont see the crab? Is he still their as well?
My Minis are doing great as well!

Yes, the crab is still all over that anemone. I will get a picture. I am glad the maxi are doing well. I feed the Haddoni twice a week and it is back to normal shape. It seems to thrive under the LEDS.

Gary-What does your yellow monti with purple polyps look like?

I glued mine back to it's place and used the unicorn tears (ecotech glue), that rock is not moving. It is starting to get it's color back.
