thanks, it seems like it is in "the rock" as i have three pieces of live rock in there from my old established 75, clean as a whistle. It's all on the new stuff. Which is stil surprising size the person I bought the tank from had it in his tank for almost a year. Stupid me sold 80% of my old rock looking for a change. They got the deal!!

Im tagging along too.. I am having the same problem.....any updates?? Anyone try scrubbing the rocks with a toothbrush?? Helped mine out a bit.....

i have been scrubbing the rocks at least once a week duiring water changes. See my first post. I have essentially researced and up to this point done everything I could find as a suggestion to do except the mag trick. I just put the gfo in yesterday so keeping my fingers crossed

WOW your calcium is low!!!!!!!! 260ppm, geez, get it up to 400 or so asap. Back to the sea hare, i had one that devoured hair algae, but my urchins are much better, my sea hare died after about a week, once the bulk of the HA was gone.
