Hair algae wanted

If your tank filled with hair algae, I need some. Will trade cultured live rock with live rock with hair algae all over it.

I need algae. Anyone?

Thanks, Stan

I have a rock that has a lot on it. I've been scrubbing my rocks and still have one left. I've tried getting things to eat it with no success.

I am going to setting up a seahorse tank. I use the hair algae to grow tiny critters for them to eat about 3 months prior to putting the horses in. My main tank doesn't have any hair algae. I tried for years to fight hair algae, now I can't find any.

I started saltwater and early corals at 11 years old in 1984. I have lived on the Barnaget Bay my whole life. I do water changes with ocean water. I have been a scuba diver since 18 years old. I use sand from my backyard lagoon. I catch bennies, gobies and seahorses locally. I used to catch wild seahorses, breed them and put them back where I found them.

I have been doing this a long time.

Awesome stuff. I live in Bayville about 3 blocks from the Barnegat Bay. I also use ocean water when I have time to get to the ocean.

Totally understand. We weren't there, but when we got back to our vacation home by the Jersey shore, everything was gone. Just 4 walls and a roof left. Doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, everything's gone.

I lucked out with Sandy. Water stopped at my front lawn. My house was an island for a bit, but it never came up high enough to get into my house.
