Hair Algae!!!

Really enjoyed meeting you and the family. Is the Sea Hare eating yet? I'll get you a bigger hunk of the frogspawn next time we see each other. Other stuff doing OK? John

John,

The sea hare I'm sure he is, he's just strolling through the tank right now. I did leave some in there for him when I cleaned out the tank. He probably should move on to the next guy soon though. All the shrooms seem to be doing well. The random guys you cut with the scissors and caught with the net, too early the tell. The finger leather of sorts I got him secured and sitting on the sand bed. He was angry yesterday, but doing well today. Another piece of the frogspawn would be appreciated if you can spare it. :)

What was the name of the website you suggested that you got your blennys from?

If anyone is in the area of Timbukthree (Princeton, IL) I HIGHLY suggest you stop by and see John, his dogs, and his 180g setup. It's amazing!! Nothing short of impressive!

If its an consolation I have been following the thread in the Macro Algae forum about the new Aquarium Pharm. product Algafix for Marine tanks. I also started using this product and am on the third dose. From what I have read it takes 5-6 doses before it really starts to kick in. Also being only on the third dose I was able to pull of the hair algae easier than I have ever been able to tonight. I have seen no ill effects on any fish corals (lps, sps, soft corals and mushrooms), my large anemone or clam. Actually would have to say I have seen a better polyp extension and color as others have also seen. I will feed back again after acouple of more doses. After each dose you have to wait 3 days so it will be a week.

Dave, thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad everything is doing well. Sometimes simplicity is the answer! Anything else I can help with, give a holler. Hope to see 'ya soon, John and his critter ranch.
