Hair Algae

I'd suggest cerith, trochus, and turbo snails. Also foxface rabbitfish (if your tank is large enough) are suppose to eat green algaes....including bubble algae.

none imo, the best way is to find out the source of the excessive nutrients that caused it to grow and stop it dead in its tracks

Probably caused by die off from the live rocks I added. It can't be too many other things- I only have a partial clean up crew so far.

I'll pick up some snails and Cheato tomorrow.

Funny you should write that- we got one as a hitchhiker on the live rock we added a few weeks ago. Just found it and it is working hard. Just a little guy right now though

i dont recommend a sea hare, very hard to acclimate properly and keep alive. i have had one for about 7months now but it isnt easy. SALLY LIGHTFOOT CRAB! best at hair algae its like a little darn lawm mower

Some of the smaller urchins work good to if your corals are glued down good and you dont have any loose rock to fall. Mespilla Globulus and Tripneustes Gratilla. If it is a new tank I would recommend getting it stable first though.

Turbo snails are good, help them with manual pruning, keep flow nice and high to get the snail poo to the skimmer.

And upgrade your nutrient export somehow.
