Hairy Finger Leather needs help?

My Green Hairy Finger Leather is looking very small, almost wilted, one of the tips are turning black, no polyp extention and the thing just looks horrible..

On the other hand my Toadstool looks great.. They are right next to each other.. getting the same light and the same current..

WHY OH WHY Does my hairy finger leather look like crap?


What do these thing need to be healthy?

Alk is 4.0 Magnesium is 1300 calcium is 400-450 temp is 78, ph is 8.2 and salinity is 1.026


(I did have some alk, magnesium, and calcium problems a couple weeks ago)

I would try running carbon to get rid of the allelopathy. That might be the problem. Can you post a pic?

I also guess it is aleopathy, you could also try moving the corals further apart.

I dont really think its aleopathy because they were on opposite sides of the tank with the finger leather started looking like this.. i thought well the toadstool is happy here maybe it will be happy down on the sand also... and nope.. it still isnt happy...

I will try running some fresh carbon

The tips turning black could be necrosis. Please post a pic.
