Hairy Mushroom Ate A Whole Krill

Whole Krill chunk landed on my hairy mushroom and it closed up over top of it for about 30 min. When it reopened the krill was gone. Just making sure this is ok and that my only large hairy mushroom isn't going to die. Thanks for the help.

Hairy mushrooms eat and should be fed from time to time. I feed mine a piece of table shrimp or lobster from time to time. Not only is your mushroom not going to die, it is probably very happy with a full stomach.

The mushrooms do expell the waste and you may witness this...don't panic, it is normal

If it doesn't agree with it at worst it would prob just puke it out which ive seen before but i wouldn't be to worried about any harm coming to it

just pray that u don't have any fish dumb enough to go near the hairy mushroom that r big b/c it will eat a fish i witness my friend who lost his blenny n clown gobie gone missing
